I really think there is no such thing as a yoga body. There is only the human body. And we each have one. To take good care of your body & mind is important because if you don't, you can start feeling stressed, stiff, unhappy, weak, depressed, overwhelmed......
Yoga is not the be all and end all but it is a way to take some time out and move your body with intend. To sit still and really check in with yourself. To take a pause, take a breath and slow down.
To take care of those niggly aches and pains that can come up because we're glued to our desks all day or sitting on the couch watching television for too long. Or maybe stress made your shoulders creep up and now your shoulders and neck feel stiff.
I have done 200 hour Vinyasa/Hatha Teacher training and a 200 hour Yin Teacher Training. If you are familiar with yoga and know of these styles, great! If not, great as well! Because I believe in teaching in a way that's enjoyable for everybody, for the seasoned yogi as well as the absolute beginner.
